Hey there, .

We're halfway through March, weather's getting warmer, was even able to open the window and air out the apartment a few times. I know the cats appreciated it... I've got two - Sidhe, a calico, and Fog, a meezer. They're very sweet, and they use those buttons to talk. It's cute.

I've belatedly gotten into the #365Games hashtag - in which one posts a game every day of 2025. I've been making YouTube shorts in which I show off the game and give some insight as to why the game chosen is important - not necessarily good or a favorite... just one that I feel some connection to. We're 72 days into the year, so I've had to hustle hard to catch up and get to #72 today, going roughly chronologically. You can find all 72 so far on my channel, and I've been posting them to bluesky and mastodon as well.

In other project news, work on Under No Pretext continues. I'm still in the design phase, currently hammering out the game's economy and upgrade scheme. In the 2d top-down game, you use a drone to target an occupying force's military and infrastructure - sort of like a SHMUP in which you can't shoot. Blowing up target gets you supporters, who increase your budget to build better drones. I'm hoping to have some prototype videos by the end of the month, and ideally the game will be out in June or July - on Steam if it's fun enough.

This month's interactive fiction game - Murder By Clockwork - progresses apace. It's not currently in a playable state, but I don't anticipate releasing it late.

I never do.
