- Mobygames is a database of games with a lot of useful info
- The Digital Antiquarian is creating a “historical chronicle of interactive entertainment”
- The Arcade Blogger “celebrat[es] the history and preservation of Classic Arcade Video Games”
- The CRPG Addict plans to play all computer role-playing games in chronological order
- CRPG Adventures is a similar project targeting CRPGs and Adventure games
- The Adventurers’ Guild is a communal attempt to play and blog every graphical adventure game
- Renga in Blue aims to “play and blog about every adventure game ever made in (nearly) chronological order.”
- The Video Game Museum offers screenshots, box art, sprites, music, and ads
- The Museum of Computer Adventure Game History provides scans of the contents of all the material included in their collection
- Ephemeral Enigmas is a blog about obscure video games

- Paletton is a color scheme picking tool, it’s great.
- Adobe Color Wheel Is this what Adobe Kuler is now? Use Paletton instead.
- Pixabay is a good source of free stock images.
- Unsplash is also a good source with some different free stock images.
- GifCam is a tool to make animated gifs from your desktop
